At ESIX, student life lasts all year round!
ESIX Normandie is an engineering school that encourages students to get involved in societies and clubs. These initiatives help students develop transferable skills such as project management, teamwork and independence.
Among the societies at ESIX Normandie is the Caen Students’ Union (BDE), made up of students from the AgroA continuing education and apprenticeship programmes and from the Mechatronics programme. It runs extracurricular activities to bring student life to life and build a sense of cohesion among engineering students. There’s also the Cherbourg Engineering Students’ Union (BDEIC), which organises student life at ESIX Cherbourg through a variety of sporting and cultural activities, bringing students together throughout the year across several events.
There’s also the student society of the Industrial Systems Engineering (GSI) department, which organises events and activities for the department’s students. This society fosters mutual support among students and helps prepare them for their future careers.
ESIX Normandie students can also join the Robotics Club, which brings together robotics enthusiasts. The club lets students build their skills in electronics and computing while working on hands-on projects.
Finally, the ESIX Sailing society is a club where students can take up sailing. It organises trips out to sea and also takes part in numerous competitions. Together, all these societies and clubs at ESIX Normandie give students the chance to get involved in a wide range of activities, develop transferable skills and prepare for their future careers. ESIX Normandie‘s student societies are therefore a real asset for engineering students.
