The Nuclear Engineering degree at ESIX Normandie trains “project manager engineers” specialising in safety and decommissioning in nuclear and nuclear-power environments. Broad-based and multidisciplinary, the programme gives engineering students a solid grounding in science, technology, industry, management and people.
The engineers it trains can work in and around nuclear facilities at every stage of their life cycle, from construction to decommissioning. Their work includes studies related to industrial nuclear activity and safety assessments of nuclear facilities. The degree is available through the apprenticeship route, giving students the chance to gain hands-on experience during their studies.
